If you cancel before the 5th month it will not allow you to maintain your membership till the 5th month. The membership will end before the start of the next free pay cycle

If you have a CITI card, generate a virtual card number for this, set max daily charge to $2. When 5 months is up, future subscription will get automatically declined

Sweet, thanks OP! Signed up and it said the original promo code was not valid, then changed it to your promo code and it said 3 free months, but the renewal date was Dec 17. Thinking 4 months is still good, I subscribed. Then I went into account management, and it changed to renewal on Jan 17, so ended up with 5 months.

Don't forget to use the privacy app so you can use it till the last day and don't get charged if you forget to cancel.

My experience with Panera is, lousy coffee and lousy service with the coffee. Always out of something. Coffee is warm or empty!
Never been my experience at any of the four locations in my city.

This deal feels almost like stealing after the first cup. I almost don't want to go there as much to show mercy

Soda is so highly marked up that they aren't really loosing too much money off you. I personally haven't paid full price and have had many months out of the last 15 that were free from promo codes, and depending on the day I go anywhere from 1-4 times for my drinks (5 min round trip drive).

If you're worried about expenses, you could start bringing your own cup so it's less plastic waste. I do this 95% of the time and just put it in the instructions that I'm bringing my own cup at check out.

edit to add: this program is also geared to getting consumers to pay for additional items along the lines of "well, might as well grab a bagel while I'm there"
Great idea!

Worked for me. My Costco card for virtual wouldn't work for some reason but other citi card, no issues. Process worked but as many said showed December and went in and it shows January. Haven't been in Panera for a while. Crazy prices for breakfast sandwiches. Over 6 bucks. Coffee to go till January. 😆

Yes, I've been to 3 of them. It's the same one all the time. But it's the one I use the most
by far.

Worked for me, was a member twice before with the amex free trials. Said 3 months but had December as first bill, then when I completed the sign up, it is now saying next bill is January, so 5 months free.

Can i get any time? Or specific time for drink?
You can use this benefit at any time. We've used the Sip Club almost daily for over a year, and there's been only one time that we ran into an issue placing our order for immediate pickup. It was Saturday around lunchtime, and the app said they were too busy to accept additional pickup orders and suggested an order-ahead time that was about 25-30 min later. I can't recall exactly.

They've managed to survive... like many others, I've had mine free since June, 2020.

Ours are all self serve, so even if it says 25 minutes, it doesn't really matter.
