We just received ours today and it was easy to install. It cooled off our finished attic room very well in the 100 degree heat. So far we are very happy.
I noticed that Amazon does not mention btu DOE for the Frigidaire.

The FHPC082AC1 apparently features R32 refrigerant, whereas the B+D unit seems to use R410a...a refrigerant that apparently is being phased out. I prefer to go directly to the manufacturers' websites to confirm products' technical specifications; this really is important, because there's a lot of conflicting information about portable air conditioners.
R32 apparently is the more energy efficient refrigerant, which, if true, would perhaps result in a lower electricity bill at the end of the month than a comparable unit running R410a. This is just one person's opinion, but I'd like to hear from anyone who knows differently.
