I think this is a good deal. You get 16 more of these rolls for the same price compared to a FP deal earlier this month, if you consider the $15 Amazon credit as cash which I do as it will easily be spent. laugh out loud

so just doing the math here need tofu vic. but basically you get 64 rolls for around $40 so that is what 0.62c per roll is that good or not so good? I can't remember what we pay at costco ... ty for any help -bean

i mean according to them one roll of theirs = 5 rolls of competitor from the photos posted but I highly doubt that I mean unless it's some broke back $1 store quality (even then I think 5 rolls of theirs would last longer than one roll of this- seems more like marketing mumbo jumbo to me). Seems the costco t.p is decent prob. 1 roll of this stuff = 1.2 rolls of costco or something? You can only make t.p. rolls so thick or they don't fit on the contraption that holds them right?

yeah but like that guy up there said they are giving you back $15. I spend so much on amazon it's basically $40 to me. Maybe your not the same. You pay $55 up front but they give you back $15 so for me its $40. Don't care if i get the $15 a week later or a month later or whatever long as I get it.

I don't put any stock into claims like "4 of our rolls are = 22 regular rolls". That's just all marketing mumbo jumbo. The best way to compare (IMO) is just price per square foot. At Costco, the Charmin Ultra Soft 2-ply is $20.69 (in-store after coupon) for 805 sqft, which brings it to $0.025 per sqft. The equivalent from Amazon would be Cottonelle Ultra Comfort, which is 2-ply as opposed to the Ultra Clean which is only 1-ply. After you factor in all the coupons, S&S discount, and Amazon credit (which for most people is as good as cash), it comes out to $40.49 for 2195.2 sqft, or $0.018 per sqft.

So based on pure numbers, the Amazon deal is cheaper.

Costco is less than $20 for 30 roll, 1424 sqft. For 2, it would be $40 for 2848 sqft

You get 30% more toilet paper when you go to costco and buy in store if you're measuring by sqft only.

Ultra clean vs ultra comfort, which one is better? Thinking of sending a case to elderly parents, just using them like regular toilet paper. The 1 ply vs 2 ply I doubt they'd care.
