It's not. It's just a wireless charging station. I bought one of those at the last "sales". The phone charging stand works with no problem. Apple watch charging, on the other hand, has a design flaw: because of the thickness of the black magnet holder, it separates the magnet from the watch. Plus, since the watch has to be positioned sideways at an angle, if the watch slips down ever so slightly from the magnet and its thick holder, the watch wouldn't charge.
