This is, hands down, the best TV Streaming box on the market. If you hate Apple and their products, make this your one exception. It just works so much better then almost every other streaming box/stick/interface out there.

What the Costco online support wrote in regards to backorders on the Apple TV 4k. For reference my original eta was August 25th.

I returned mine close to 6 months after purchasing. Mine was opened and used (did not like the remote as previously commented) and had no issue with the return.

Yes we have an ultra and its still in use. We have it in our living room since the remote is more kid friendly and the roku has the kid channel. We also have had multiple roku 4k sticks even the newer 4k/DV roku stick. Most of the sticks are now retired, the 4K/DV stick was taken form my man cave and moved to the kids play room because thats where I put the second apple tv. The first apple tv we got a few months ago was a test to see if we would like it and we liked it so much better than roku. Everything from the interface, ios ecosystem, speed, plex app and so on.

Worst case if you dont like it just return it. I am not a fanboy, we just buy what works best for us. If something better comes along then we will move from the apple tv to that product. We are very pleased with the 2 apple tvs we have.

Thanks for your input. I love the roku so far except for the plex app. Its kinda clunky I'd say. Can't wait to try the apple tv

I tried chatting with them. They quoted that they cannot adjust the price and refund as it is beyond 30 days. They did say that I can return it to a warehouse and buy again.

not who you quoted but in my experience I splurged on the Roku Ultra + to get the best. I found a deal on the Apple TV 2nd gen but Apple is too cute with it's quirkiness, I don't find the remote very user friendly. Maybe 3rd gen is better but I think it comes down to app support and price. YMMV on what primary apps you use, I mostly stream Directv Stream so the Roku wins on that handily over the ATV. my two cents, I have a lot of boxes including the Fire Cube 2nd gen I think. Roku Ultra Plus wins again.
