What the Costco online support wrote in regards to backorders on the Apple TV 4k. For reference my original eta was August 25th.

As for the Apple TV 128gb model, they don't sell them in the store so there is no way to even price match it. They will not price match the 128gb version to the 64gb version. NO company would do that. ZERO.. what your asking for is beyond outside every companies price match policy's.
Do as I did. Use the app and keep clicking ad to cart and have your address and cards saved then once it adds checkout. I got two this way, took an hour for the first then 3hr for the second. The app gets first dibs on restocks if you do it right. The add to cart button is there when you search Apple TV.

I literally just returned my version 2 for $169 to Costco last week after it started crashing to much. They took it back no questions asked then I bought two of the new ones at $100. That would never happen at any other retailer. Costco 100% of the time wins.

Also like I said no company will ever price match a different model. That's common sense and the fact that you keep getting but hurt over this is crazy. If you want it, go on the app and keep click add to cart. Many have gotten it today already.
