No experience here with factory seconds from AE. I've read it's either hit or miss.

I've never been disappointed with a AE factory second. But I've only purchased about 4 pair that way. The rest have all been normal.

I bought a different factory second pair before, right shoe color faded after the first time, after being worn 5 times the right shoe was torn a little. Left shoe was ok. I never buy from them again.
