I just don't understand why regular monthly sale ads are posted here. They literally spam these out to all of their members every month. And it's never anything to go crazy about, maybe with the exception of the holiday sales. Why does Costco always get special treatment? Why not post Target's sale ad? Why not Walmart, Meijer, local grocery stores, Ace Hardware, the list goes on...

Bottom line: this is an ad, not a deal.

Anybody happen to find a good fit to use the "$40 off of $250" online coupon that came with the recent Membership deal?

Their beer prices beat almost everyone else. Gas is .40 less per gallon. Bulk quality razors are usually a good buy. If you want to save money on food, shop at Aldi. If you want low pricing on tires, plug in your tire size at Walmart.com
People shop at Costco and pay a small premium to avoid the Walmart experience. Sometimes it's worth it.

4% back net (or 5% on some stuff) really adds up too. I saved over $1000 on a cruise I took in April just because I bought it through Costco.

If installation is free for tires now, that's a huge deal. Saves an extra $80.
Even so, I usually take the out the door price for the tires from Costco, and then price match it at Discount Tire, and more often than not, I get it matched. Sometimes I can't get the same tire for the exact same price, but I may be able to get a better tire for a little more. Still get lifetime free rotation/balancing/patching (I don't know if Costco does patching?), and I don't have to put up with the wait at my local Costco. Worth a few dollars more.

Can you get them to match the road hazard warranty? America's tire (same company, West Coast name) wanted to charge me $40/tire extra for their version

I usually go with the quote and what's included, and let them figure out how they want to distribute the cost. I also have an amount in mind I'm willing to go over for the convenience of not dealing with Costco tire center. Usually I'm willing to pay an extra $10 or so per tire.

How does this coupon book work? The prices don't match online or in-store. How are the discounts applied? For instance, Ninja IQ blender still shows as 69.99 on app and same in store. How do I get it for 49.99?

This is all regional (tire stores), but around here Town Fair is the regional place and their road hazard warranty is less than Costco. In fact, I've priced out the exact same tires at both stores, and if you make the 2 offers as close to being the same as possible, Costco comes out ahead and that doesn't even take into account the 4% I get for being an Executive and CC holder. The chain store doesn't have as good a road hazard, but lets you upgrade it (although still not as long as Costco's), and Costco doesn't offer alignment at all whereas the chain includes front wheel "for free". So, I get tires and install at Costco then get an alignment at the same chain store (ironically getting a 4 wheel alignment off the street is only marginally more expensive than what they charge to upgrade to 4 wheel).

As for waits - the tire chain tends to have longer waits IMHO. I just scheduled a rotation at Costco last night and was surprised to see they had a plethora of appts as soon as today, going into the weekend. I find they keep their appt. schedule better than the chain place, plus I just do my normal shopping while the vehicle is being serviced. At the chain place I'd have to find a way to busy myself.

Anyone ever do the math on Kirkland toilet paper and paper towels vs doing the P&G $25 off $100 and getting Bounty and Charmin??

Oh, boy. Do you need that IQ!
If you have a time machine, you can hop onto it and go a few days into the future.
Or, like the rest of us, wait until the end of the month for the sale prices to kick in.

Oops. No need to be so smug. I've never used costco coupons and missed the dates on this post. Thanks for pointing it out still.
Wonder if costco does price adjustments if I bought the same item at higher price 2 weeks ago. Any idea about that?

You can go back, buy the product at sale price, then on your way out return it with your older receipt. That's what I do, makes it easier than trying to price match.
