You honestly expect Lvl.2 protection in a $69 jacket, even at full MSRP you would be hard pressed to find that…just ridiculous. BTW, this looks like pretty good Lvl.1 armor, better than the more typical foam stuff and perhaps more on-par with D30 ghost armor- that alone would cost more than this jacket…but I haven't actually handled this product, so hard to tell from a single pic.
Finally, I can be Tom.
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, level 2 protection at $100 shipped would be a slickdeal

The fit is regular size not slim. With the layer inside a Small fits me just right. I am 5'9" 150 lbs. You can return it if it does not fit. I tried couple of them both jackets and the Air rush pants and they were hassle free.
Good company, seemingly good brand, almost bought for hot or wet weather. However cannot justify the lack of protection, ie the point of gear, compared to leather. I wear leather boots, pants and jacket on my 10 minute daily commute. If you wear this and fall off, the time it takes to be fully eroded and your skin is toiching the ground is like one second (see all the tests for details). Unless you're looking at codura, Kevlar, or very expensive synthetic materials, it's basically thin polyester. What's the point? I'd rather be hot or wear an overjacket/suit.

Thanks OP. I am always looking for motorcycle deals. I got in for one.
My jacket arrived today and I immediately took it for a ride. I like it. Seems to be good quality, especially for this price. I have had a a lot of jackets from ICON, Joe Rocket, and Fieldsheer to name a few. This one is pretty darn nice.
I find this jacket to run a little smaller when compared to the brands I named above. I am 5'8" and about 194 pounds. I found that with the liner in, a large fit just right and is form fitting. You don't want a bunch of extra material. I normally wear a medium in the other brands I own, however a medium in this jacket would have definitely been too snug.
It was about 70 in Michigan today where I am located. With the liner in, I was a little too warm. That waterproof liner definitely keeps the heat in. I didn't try the jacket without the liner yet. However, I do think other jackets that have more mesh areas would allow more air to flow in. This jacket certainly seems like it will be perfect for the fall and chilly nights.
I bought the recommended D30 CE back pad for $30, which, then put me over the threshold for free shipping. I am very happy with my purchase. I really don't think you can get a better coat for the money.
It dropped to $49 for the jacket now. I got one for hot weather and have no regrets, though I'd highly recommend to get the suggested back pad, as well.

Looking at this for riding in Florida...how is the breathability?

This is a great company to do business with. They are very helpful with good sale prices. No affiliation, just a happy customer.
I may have this jacket from them last year......need to go check.
