Lowest price $14.99 on 03/29/2019, $11.80 on 07/17/2018. $16.10 is close enough to the low for me to pick up two cans to stow away for 10+ years.

A review on Amazon states that it "contains a bio engineered food product" with a picture of the can. No thanks.....

Bioengineered is a somewhat new designation that started in Jan 2022, so that may be the discrepancy on the label on the site vs what was sent.

Most starches like wheat, potatoes, barley, corn, soybeans are bioengineered, which by definition means their gene have been lab altered, as opposed to the older natural selection method. The alternation is almost always to make the food item more resistant to pests, so you can use less or no pesticides.

This designation is different from GMO which may use the natural selection method. It's more likely than not you are already eating a lot of GMO or bioengineered foods. However McDonalds does NOT use GMO in it's fries, so there's that

The label "food product" is because cheese has a standard definition and this does not meet that standard. For example, Cheez Whiz or Velveeta are not cheeses but cheese products.

it's processed cheese powder, ok? by definition, this crap won't degrade forever because it is highly processed, dehydrated garbage, not real food. Anyone paranoid enough to hoard this, deserves this.

$18.78 now....to cheese or not to cheese. That is the question.
All of you saying negative things here....ehhhh what do you expect? Farm fresh milk...cheese...veggies and such when you are prepping and have food with a 10 to 20 year shelf life?????
Coommmmonnnn now. This is for crazy conspiracy theorists like me who are planning for the end of civilization as we know it!
