this set is a 120 tooth vs 72 set on the dewalt and they are likely made in the same Taiwan factory. Higher tooth count is typically a big part of the cost.
72 tooth 1/2 inch makes sense if you're gonna put a pipe on it but there is no way youre breaking this set with hand strength. This is a mechanics tool set meaning you may need the tight space of the 120 tooth far more than you need the strength.
In all the project farm test the non-us craftsman sets perform just as well as the other Taiwan made tools in reliability. This is likely the same ratcheting mechanism that's in the 120 gearwrench.

Edit: Received it today and it is made in Taiwan. The gunmetal finish looks amazing and the case is very solid with the metal locking tabs. Only imperfection is the bits in the plastic holster are partially rusted. Will message the seller about that.
