You can use the Docker Wyze Bridge addon to pump the video feed into frigate NVR addon for object detection, video recording, and playback in home Assistant.

Overall it works, but I feel like the wyze cameras could be better. For a real security system I'd go with another camera. For watching my cats it's fine

I'm glad I waited before ordering the 4-pack of plugs and am curious to hear what their Customer Service has to say.

Woot has been hit-and-miss for me, having not delivered a couple of orders.

Make sure to check the outdoor plugs that they connect and work ok. One of 2 I purchased wouldn't connect, lots of problems like that in the reviews. The one that works, works great.

I didn't have this problem with the feits which I paid $65 for at Costco.
I finally realized after more testing that the PIR sensor won't activate the floodlights unless the camera detects motion as well. That explains the delay before it coming on.

I tested this by:

1. Setting custom detection area in camera Motion Detection settings. The PIR sensor no longer activated outside of the custom detection area.

2. Pointing camera in one direction. The PIR sensor no longer activates on the side the camera doesn't see, even though it has 270deg field of view.

3. Decreasing the camera's Motion Detection sensitivity also decreased/delayed PIR sensor floodlight activation (already knew this from Wyze support).

Unless I'm missing something (I'm using default settings with only "Motion is detected by PIR sensor" enabled in the Floodlight settings), there doesn't seem to be a way for the PIR sensor/floodlight activation to be independent of the camera motion detection. What's the point of a PIR sensor with 270deg field of view when the camera itself can't see 270deg?

Check your cameras, ordered 4 pack, one has a jacked up mount, another keeps disconnecting despite multiple factory resets. 2 work perfectly. Woot wants me to return all 4 instead of just sending 2 new ones
