I've tried to switch to this stuff twice because of the price but it just isn't a very good product. Hard to apply without clumping and doesn't hold as well as the forming cream.

Been using this stuff for over 10 years. I'll believe the 1 star reviews when I get the product and see for myself. I've bought many on Amazon and never had a problem. The first time I bought it on Amazon 10 years ago, I paid $13. Last year when I bought some I paid $10 each. After this deal and 15% off with S&S, I just paid $6 each so this is a great deal. Thanks OP. Less is more with the Crew products, and with these 2 I'll be set for the next 2-3yrs using 3-4 days/week.

Thanks OP! I'm in need of a refill and have been waiting for a lower price.

For anyone with problems or in doubt of this product, I scrape a large pea sized amount onto the top of my fingernail. I then smear that between my thumb and fingers evenly on both hands. I then work it into towel dried hair with my fingertips. A quick rinse of my hands and they're clean. No clumps, no mess.

I have purchased American crew on Amazon and received fake product. Wouldnt be surprised if one of these tins has metamucil and the other Owens Corning.

I am just growing my hair out again. Not as thick as it was 10 years ago so not sure this will work for me, but applying after rubbing in hands to warm up and then to damp hair after a shower this was the best product I ever came across. And the price for 2 is nearly what I was paying for 1 ten years ago. You need to rub it in your hands vigorously first, wet/damp hair isn't necessary but doesn't hurt.

Great deal, been using this for years. If it feels dry I'd add just a tiny bit of water but I normally doesn't dry out for me. forming cream is good too but can get 'sticky', I like the matte look this provides more

I used to love this product. Not sure if they changed formula or I got a bad batch, but the last one I got sucked. It doesn't hold anything
