Apple unified all gift cards. That was 3-4 years ago.
It works in Apple Store and App Store, regardless of the original issue.

Right. 100k in purchases and they're using eneba? And then on top of that Apple deletes the user account for purchasing said gift card and the user can't get their account back? Nah, no one here's buying it.
