Does anyone know if you can stack this? My aunt got a similar offer and has only 2 months left can we stack this to extend her and she can still keep her current phone. Any help would be appreciated

I'm using an A14-5G right now, having gotten one from the MeyroPCS 6 months ago,then unlocked a month ago. It's big, clunky. It has better battery life and download speeds than my previous ten year old iPhone 6s.

The move from the 6s to this A14-5G was a sideways one.

If I had it over, I would get some model that weighs less.

If by "stack" you mean the tracfone service, that can carryover to the new phone, when it's activated. I had a month of tracfone service left, with about 1200 minutes, 1200 texts, and 200 mb. After I activated the new phone with my existing tracfone number the new phone now has 2700 minutes, 2700 texts, and 1700 mb with service for about 13 months.

Yes, of course she can. You might want to keep an eye out for something like their flip phone deals. I bought one on Ebay a few wks. ago (2 for $35).
Like many other people, I got them to harvest their 1 yr. of service + additional minutes and txts. and add them to my current plan and kept both my current Tracfone and phone #. CS will do it for you, if you don't know how to use their web site for the purpose. It's a 3 step process. Make a screen shot of her then currently-remaining time, min., txts and data in case problems occur. If anyone tells you to try to do it by moving SIMS, DO NOT do that. Return on another day and get a different CS rep. who understands the process.

Not completely correct for the second part. Unlocking only means the phone won't give you a "sim not supported" message when you put in a non-Tracfone sim. Basically, you can put in the sim card from any carrier you want, but it doesn't mean the carrier will be compatible with the phone.

Incidentally, if your aunt doesn't need data, TextNow provides free, unlimited voice and txts. You can use almost any unlocked phone (your aunt should have her Tracfone unlocked). I use an old Galaxy and have had the service for years. No problems. It's also my home WiFi phone. The SIM is a 1 time charge of $0.99. What a bargain! Great for a spare.

Appreciate the reply. You mentioned you can do it just on the website I would much prefer that way as opposed to talking to a rep. Have you done it since they are Verizon now ? Do you just go through the online activation prompts

Thanks that's good to know that you can carry over and use the new phone might come in handy when she needs a better phone. This time she wants to keep her phone as she is used to it plus it runs a bit better than the a14 these are on the slower end.

I've done that a few times since they were bought over by Verizon. That process has actually gone far smoother since Verizon took over. It used to be hit or miss before that. Just be sure your aunt's current phone is a smart phone. I remember reading somewhere in their site that benefit (min/text/data) will not transfer from non-smart phones to smart phones. Also be sure you have access to your aunt's current phone because they will send a verification code to it to confirm that the phone # you're transferring to the new device/phone is really yours.

By the way, I have an account with them and I did mine through my account. Maybe someone that have done it without an account can cham in and confirm that it works without an account.

are phones deals like these better than those 2-3 year account credit deals now? I feel these don't require as much commitment since most just need 1 month service and then wait for X number of days to unlock
