I have the 32oz one and love the light weight and slimmer profile than my other 32oz hydro flask. However, this thing really scratches easily without the standard powder coating they do.

let's be real. How about printing "I am rich and care about environment" to a reusable aluminum water bottle. super light, super durable.

I love my hydroflasks. That said, this model is marketed towards backpackers that are ounce counters so it doesn't do quite as well as the usual bottles from them..it also doesn't do very well for the ounce counters either because it is pretty heavy compared to single wall titanium bottles, repurposed crinkle water bottles,.and people who suck water from their shirt collar so they can call it dual use.

This is a nice bottle, if people like it go for it and enjoy the discount!

I have the 32 oz. It's my travel bottle.

It's thinner so when you drop it, it dents easier.

Also if you buy rubber boots (think that's what it's called) for your regular Hydroflask, those don't work with theses. They also don't make ones for this series.

I might pick up a 21 oz for when I don't need a bigger bottle.

I've had the 24oz for a couple years and I agree that it dents/scratches easily. Also I've noticed some stain spots in the interior that I don't get with the 40oz that I also have.

Almost pulled the trigger on this deal, but decided against it for the above reasons. I"ll probably go back to one of their standard bottles, especially since this one's not exactly made for oz counters / UL backpackers either as someone mentioned.

Not dishwasher safe if that matters to you. That's one reason I prefer yeti products, they're expensive but they're dishwasher safe across the board.
My yeti tumbler's paint flaked close to where I drink it at I'm assuming due to dishwasher.

Yeah this is a good rundown for why its a master of none. You either want something with better insulation/durability and slightly more weight, or less/zero insulation and borderline zero weight. This is an awkward middle ground made even harder to justify due to its price.

$31 dollars for a water bottle? go to any Thrift Store and buy last years $25 bottle for $2.

Take it home and wash it with cheap scotch and rocks …. and thank me in the morning.
what kind of scotch though?
10 year costco
12 year trader joes
or fancy with 18 year + ??

side note. its $8.99 now for water bottles, inflation really kicked in

Have you dropped that yet bottle at all? If not I would contact yeti, they're usually good about that if you didn't damage the bottle. I've washed a few of my yeti bottles hundreds of times (I use them and wash them daily) and the outside still looks new.

I honestly do not understand the appeal with Hyrdroflask? There are so many more comparable options at a far better price. (ie RTIC, Thermoflask)

I got a 21oz HF for sale several years ago ($15?) and used it as my standard short workout and "going out on a hot summer day" bottle.

I have larger bottles for other purposes, and a couple months ago after having ice from my dispenser fall on my kitchen floor yet again, I wondered why I owned anything but true wide mouth bottles. After looking around, I got a Tempercraft 22oz bottle (offered a plain brushed stainless option at that size) and use a Takeya lid (I like the spout, it has cross pieces to keep small pieces of ice from going through). It's a little bulkier, but the ice goes straight in from the dispenser.

If you're good with powder coating, take a look at Takeya. Very good insulation, my favorite lid, and they run sales on their site all the time.

Edit: Hey, there's a front page deal for an 18oz Takeya bottle.

yeah the clearance prices on HF bottles isn't that great anymore. i know that the pricing of everything has gone up and such, but i'm conditioned to get HF bottles under $20 on clearance and the better made versions not these trail-oriented lighterweight versions

i have a handful of smaller HF bottles from deals back in 2016 or so. they've been great, and even though they have been dropped a lot and are banged up and scratched up there is nothing wrong with them. even if i decided i wanted to replace them and donate my old ones, it's hard to swallow paying literally double what i paid

I fit the basic boot in, it's a tight fit and takes some muscle to work it in but after that it ain't coming off and looks like it was made for it. downside it becomes a little tight on some cup holders. Can't win 'em all, the fact theyre the only 32oz bottle that fit the cup holders make em a daily driver for me.

Edit: also bought the newer straw lid so I can do one handed sipping when needed. If it didn't scratch so easily, this would've been the perfect 32oz for me.
