Bought it before. It feels like aluminum. Each joint has an Allen key screw which is adjustable in tightness. Weirdly they made each joint a different size Allen key but included all 3 keys. The base is relatively heavy and wide with felt padding to keep it stable on a table surface. I haven't used the wall mount yet, but I bought a second one to mount on the wall. I am using a cheap Amazon fire tablet on the wall to always display my doorbell camera.

None of the reviews mention what material it's made from.

If either the width or length of your device are around 5", it will work.

It's just a matter of clamping it on whichever end is greater than 5".

why cant you just velcro the fire tablets to the wall? i "stick" them everywhere on my wall including my toilets.
