Looks like a Hikvision OEM camera .. should meet standards well .. lower resolution = good as the sensor is 1/2.5" .. so should better for low light conditions vs a higher resolution version on the same size chip .. ( a lot of 8MP / "4K" cameras on 1/2.5" or even 1/2.8" chips .. )

Hi @John ..

Annke, Paxvigo, and other vendors rebranding Hikvision OEM cameras do not really development the software, .. so it should basically be the same ..

that noted, as these are using solid standards, you should be able to use 3rd party apps / software with the cameras like blue iris ..

yes .. in general Hikvision OEM cameras you see meet specs better, and are available in larger sensor sizes ..

Was not charged tax and the faster shipping method is free. Coupon only good for one camera, though it appears I could make multiple orders.
No experience with this brand though, so ordering one to see how it performs.

I couldn't find an equivalent Hiki data sheet. The Hiki highe end hot better specs but 3 Benjmins. This cam seems to match up with the Annke FCD 600 which is a Hiki OEM as well. It ain't 1/1.2 either but 1/2.5 so headline is misleading Could not eveluate any software as saw no download link. Pass as if I wanted these specs would buy the Annke despite $20 more. Even the FCD 600 is not the best 180 POV cam from Annke.

So is that mean the camera will support Hikvision camera protocol on NVR? using ONVIF won't support advance features.

Is site legit?

Hi optical,

Hikvision OEM and Dahua OEM cameras typically run OEM firmware .. perhaps sometimes some of the more advanced features are not in the firmware ( AI / smart detect features perhaps .. you have to check ) .. yet the base firmware is that from the OEM .. so it should work in the respective native APIs ( hikvision or dahua respectively )

Is site legit ?? Honestly, this brand is new to me .. I know Annke better ..

Mat, it is 1/ 2.5 not 1/1.2 I have never seen a 1/1.2 cam cost $80. Even the Annke doenst have that spec.

The Hookup on YouTube did a comparison of all the 180 cams and I think the FCD 600 was included. IF you are OK with it think the Annke is a safer bet.

That's what the OP says, 1/2.5" sensors, F1.2 lenses, the 1.2 aperture is 1 1/3rd stop faster (2.3x more light) than the typical cheap camera f2.0 lens. And 1/2.5" isn't great but it also isn't 1/3" as many are. As mentioned, there's a 1/1.8" iirc version of this design from Hikvision, but it sells for 3-4x as much, which makes sense. While you have valid concerns you're really poo-pooing this camera based on specs you couldn't reasonably expect anywhere near this price point.

I never heard of PoE camera until today. Any source to read to learn what I need besides the camera?
