lolz. this is why I don't post deals on SD any more. This is like the 1st deal I've posted in a very very long time. I post a deal, get no love, then when the deal expires, I get a bunch of thumbs down because, well, the deal is over... Like what, deals are supposed to last forever? Go ahead, give it that mighty thumbs down! Don't you feel powerful! However, I've noticed that you can't spend reps points or whatever they give you here, so it will probably be a cold day in hell before I post in here again.

Don't get discouraged, you'll find a deal that hits front page then somebody will do a wiki page about you, then they'll call you to pontificate on CNN then you'll get a book deal and sell four books then you will be voted a NYT Best Seller then the groupies will leave victoria secrets at your door step.

Front page? Been there, done that. Big deal, gets you nothing. Rep points? Meh, show me where to spend them. It's not discouragement. It's more like why bother? If the deal dies in a short time period (short enough that no one gets the deal so they can say it worked) then people think it was wrong and thumbs down. That is called being unlucky. Life isn't fair but if someone who got an unfair call by a ref stopped playing that sport then we would call that person a bad sport.

It is up to you whether to let a bit of bad luck discourage you from sharing or not.
