Basically this has a lot of functions with the main exception being a pressure cooker. The things it does do include air fry, steam cook, saute, sous vide, bake roast, broil, slow cook. The biggest thing though is the Speedi meal which is essentially a steam and fry in one and this allows you to cook one pot meals. For example for a chicken penne alfredo, I put the pasta water, oil, salt, brocolli, cream, cheeses, italian seasoning all in the bottom and on the top some dry brined and seasoned chicken and set it to Speedi meal for 12 minutes. I let it rest for another 5 minutes and then open and saute the pasta for a couple minutes if it is too watery and then it is done. Basically about 10 minutes of prep time and 15 minutes of cooking for a full dish and of those 15 you only need to be present for the last 3so you personally spend less than 15 minutes of your time to cook a full dish. You can similarly cook so many other dishes by cooking the carbs in the bottom and protein on top etc. Ninja has a recipe builder dedicated for the Speedi.

I wasn't able to find anything confirming that it is not teflon. A forum post quoted the manufacturer as stating "In regards to the materials that make up the pot; unfortunately we can't claim that they are PTFE/PFOA free. However, the material is not out of the ordinary for similar non-stick products."
