This is 100% a pass! $10 gets you a $10 knife, it's worth about this price and that is it. don't expect it to hold up to any kind of stress.
i ordered two of these and they are pretty nice. i haven't put them to any stress test as i'll be giving them as gifts, but they seem sturdy, sharp, and the sheath seems good quality.

The whole thing is asinine. It was the TSA which recommended banning the knives in the first place and then when they realized the threat was non-existent, they recommended removing the ban only for people to lose their ever loving minds and demand they remain banned from flights. We shouldn't even be in this predicament.
