if you're the kind of guy who likes to spend your weekends rescuing hostages and stabbing bad guys, this might be the knife for you

Good luck in some states. My homie got picked up by the Michigan State Police for having a blade like this in the glove box while we were in the UP. Got stopped for speeding, MSP smelled marijuana (we don't smoke) and did a search.

Under Michigan law, the following knives cannot be conceal carried:
Double-edged, non-folding (fixed-blade) stabbing instrument of any length

I'll take " that didn't happen " for 1000 Alex.

The glove box is not concealed. Lmao.

They had reason to search the vehicle and found it and took him to jail. Maybe it wasn't for concealed carry but for possession of a dagger. This was years ago. Believe it or not, I quoted the Michigan law so people can figure it out themselves.

For the price it's neat knife to have, grabbing another to keep around; not the best quality and needed sharpening out of the box, but the sheath and clip make it great for just putting it on as a utility knife when camping.

Ya.... completely out of sight and within reach. Truckers have had similar charges thrown at them for having concealed weapons stored in their sleeper cab, arguably not readily reachable.

In some areas / cities politicians pass even stricter rules than state ones.
Where i live I can open carry a large knife everywhere except 2 cities. Concealing a knife over 3.5 inches is illegal everywhere in my state.
Everyone and everywhere (some exclusions, but not whole city wide) in my state can carry a concealed handgun.

Local laws vary. Ignorance of a law doesn't let you off.

What I don't understand is why those Amazon reviews (another one shows it broke at the hilt) still gives 4-5 stars.
Haven't you watched the show Silicon Valley where Jin Yang hired a bunch of students to write fake amazon reviews?

Deals 1d6 additional damage on a successful sneak attack.
If you put more points into stealth abilities you get the sneak attack success rate up. It has synergy with pick pocketing. Are you a cut purse type character?

Can you fight off a mountain lion with this? I want something to carry on a solo hike/backpacking that I never ever plan to use. Already carry a bear spray.
The first reviews with pictures show you can bend the blade with just a light thumb pressure.
Don't bother with this. Look at the coldsteel bushmen. It is cheap like this knife and made of SK5 steel so it is flexible and will not snap but still strong. In the wilderness, find a stave about 5 ft in length and insert into the hollow handle. You now have a 6 ft spear. You can fight a big cat off with this. If you get on a tree you can fight a bear off.

Just by looking at it, something tells me that more people experience self-injury than they do protecting themselves from others.

Did you read the reviews? Look at the picture of the guy pressing his thumb against the blade and it bending. That is NOT sturdy! Also other negative reviews showing the blade broken. Not only that, but the handle is small and a man's hands don't even grasp it well because the bottom of your hand where the pinky finger is, struggles to get a hold of the bottom of the handle.

This is 100% a pass! $10 gets you a $10 knife, it's worth about this price and that is it. don't expect it to hold up to any kind of stress.
Did you read all 17k reviews or just the first two?

Thanks for this. Just checked in my state and concealed carry of a "dagger" is criminal.

No slungshots either. Slingshots seem ok.

Everything I've learned in MMOs has told me that I will be replacing this weapon once I get out of the starter zone.

I read about 40 reviews, watched a torture test video and 2 other review videos, as I was curious as to if it would be a good knife. In the end, I concluded after seeing all this, that the knife was not a good choice. Although, it can be said that having "something" is better than having "nothing" in a defensive situation. So I guess by that logic, it could come in handy.

I do have several knives, but my favorite is a Kbar as it has special meaning to me and is still considered one of the best fighting knives ever made. My grandfather carried one in World War II, My Paw Paw carried one in Vietnam, which he handed down to me when I was 17. My brother carried one for 20 years in the military, although he did not see combat, he was proud to carry on the tradition. The one I have, the wrapped handle had shriveled after so many years, so I had a bladesmith clean up the knife and the handle rewrapped so it looks like new and has a razer edge. It's more of sentimental value as I do not carry it on my person. I live in Louisiana and travel often, so I conceal carry a Glock. Especially since we have such high crime in cities like New Orleans. I don't trust my life to a knife, when most of these young criminals have stolen firearms.
