I got the same phone last year for my mother. She's super happy with it. I honestly don't know if it has NFC, but if it doesn't, she's none-the-wiser and doesn't care. She's using it on TMO.
Indeed, Motorola has NOT released Android 13 for it, and it doesn't look good. In fact, their last Retail Channel update was in March, although AT&T, Boost, and T-Mobile, have all released updates as recently as July (still Android 12 though).To de-bloat it: I network-unlocked the phone first, then unlocked the bootloader, and manually flashed the retail firmware. There are guides out there but it's critical that you don't let it update when you first get it for this to work... So hold off until you're sure which way you're going.
Like others have done for this offer, I added some cheap knick-knack and was able to use the $30 discount.

Are you sure you bought the tracfone version and Moto unlocked the bootloader?

Did you wait 60 days for the network unlock and then immediately ask for bootloader unlock, or sign up for a new service first?

Got the same TF phone from the HSN deal that was posted last year. I waited beyond the 60 days, probably closer to 120 for the bootloader unlock, but the phone was never back on TF.

Okay, after much agonizing and a couple of tries, it worked. Feel free to give me your comments/advice.

• BRADSQVC20 didn't work but QVCNEW20 did. I don't need knives or padding, $44.18's fine for a "new" 5G phone.

• I'm currently using a 2019 Moto G7, so this is a little bit of an upgrade. I hoped for better, but $44, y'know.

• I use [and love] Google Fi, so the plan/hope is to just activate on TF, forward calls for a couple of months, unlock, and then use the new phone on Fi.

• Worst case scenario: the above won't work and I'll still have a wi-fi device to use for socials on the recliner & in bed.

We're havin' fun in here!

I wasn't expecting anything - sometimes people try to help others with information? Meaning that just because QVC sells TF don't expect it to be a new model, they're still trying to unload the old LG Reflect when LG has been out of the phone business for over a year.

It's always suggested that new TF users do their own research first but from reading here doesn't look like many do.
