I feel like I've read about the 10ah having issues dying. Some have mentioned might be due to use in mowers when it's hot, then charging while hot in a hot garage.
Still a good price for these, but just word to the wise...

Yep, I've jumped on similar deal a few months back and one of them already took a shit. I feel like the remaining one is on borrowed time. They were used on my blower most of the time. Its time to test DeWalt battery warranty. I wouldn't recommend this.
Good deal for 20v only. Please note these are not flex volt to be used with 60v tools.
What about this post would give anyone the impression that these might be flexvolt batteries? I feel like you might as well have warned people this wasn't a drill and can't be used to make holes.

My brother had to use their warranty service for a different amp hour battery and they sent him a new one, no questions asked. Didn't even ask for the receipt, but I can't guarantee it's like that always
I bought a bunch of these last yr in the 2 for $150 amazon deal for myself and soem friends, I think it was summer. Out of all 10 1 was doa, dewalt, as always, wanted just a pic of the manufacture date to make sure it was still within warranty period and replaced it with a 9ah flexvolt, did not required shipping the dead one back. I've exercised warranty on another battery prior, and a charger, never an issue. Same level of service when exercising free battery promotions (the last one I got was free 4ah compact battery with $250 purchase from an authorized dealer, actually got that with the purchase of these 2 packs last yr.)
