- The additional toppings of shiitake mushroom slices, carrots, and scallions add some welcome bits of texture as you eat. The shiitake mushrooms in particular give nice meat-like textures.
- If you're afraid of the heat you can use a little less of the soup powder packet. It will take the edge off a little but you'll still get to enjoy a warm, savory, rich spiced broth.

I checked my order history on Costco. It was $12.99 in April but $15.99 in June. That's a 23% increase in two months. Inflation really hit hard.
If you want authentic ramen, then go down to the nearest ramen bar in your town and don't be eating instant noodles.

Shin in Korean directly translates to spicy in English.
Nongshim makes lots of other flavors/varieties of noodle bowls/packets, but for Shin Ramyun this is the original and has always been spicy. Very spicy, lol. They make an extra spicy, don't know if I could handle it, haha.

Saw 10 pack for $11 at two stores this week. JMart had a sale for a 10 pack for $9 one weekend. I would estimate the average price to be around $1 per packet in-store.
