Honestly, at $528 this is a pretty bad deal. The performance is hobbled by the low-powered processor, there are no ports except 2 Thunderbolt, and it's not particularly light. I got this ThinkPad Z13 [ebay.com] on eBay for $589, brand-new, which is kind of the Ryzen version of the XPS 13 - but with 2x the storage (and upgradable), 2x the RAM, 1080p camera, about double the performance [cpubenchmark.net], and 3-year warranty.

nevermind, found the specs. looks good, but a bit heavy for a 13.3" laptop considering the Acer Swift Edge 16 weighs almost the same. Is it a solid all metal build?

The Z13 weighs almost exactly the same as the XPS 13 - 2.6 lbs. Considering how much more powerful it is than the XPS 13, that's pretty good. I haven't handled the Swift Edge 16 but anything that size that weighs under 3 lbs is probably magnesium, which feels different, many people think it's cheap plastic even though it's not. It will definitely flex noticeably more than an aluminum laptop, it's the trade-off for the weight.

After using my grams, I find it so hard to go to heavier laptops. Bought a Zenbook 14 OLED that weighed a bit over 3lbs, and it felt like a brick compared to my Gram 15.
I have a super powerful desktop with an AMD 5950x when I need the best performance, but when it comes to laptops, weight is the number one consideration now. What I love about the LG Grams is that they don't compromise on battery size in order to reduce weight. In fact, it is the opposite. They have some of the largest batteries in their size category. As an example, the 2.7lb Acer Swift Edge 16 has a 54Wh battery, but my 2.47 Gram 15 has an 80Wh battery, and the 2.6lb Gram 16 also has an 80Wh battery. I know AMD chips are more efficient, but that is still a huge difference.
