Current metacritic score by users is 5.6. I spent a few hours playing last night thanks to it being on gamepass. Not really feeling it so far but but I'm still so early in. Kinda reminds me of when I started playing cyber punk. I really wanted to like it but it was just so dull.

Its a good game, like I said. But thats about it. This isn't a stellar experience. They took 7 years to build this and its essentially just the same game they've made over and over, even down to the engine.

The audience score isn't really a indicator of the quality of the game, but more-so the dissapointment people felt when they finally played it. As someone who loved playing the fallout and Skyrim series, I was disappointed it was basically just the same game just in space.

It's a good game, but not great. I guess we all just kinda expected more after Microsoft made this their major cash cow.

UPDATE - I sent a ticket requesting to cancel my order, and within a few moments got my code...


So far not impressed with this deal, I will update if anything changes.

I created an account and made a purchase and got this:

They went live with it. No longer early access. But it is really perverted, so personally I am focusing on Starfield.

Greenman Gaming was this same price. Not sure if you can still pick it up there, and return/cancel your order with Fanatical. Usually Fanatical is very fast. Edit: BTW, get ready for a long download. Many of my friends have bought this game and download from Steam is crazy slow. Same for me when I did the preorder download. Then is does an unpacking that takes a bit after the download.
