Apparently I don't know how to spell the word Costco - just fixed the title, oops. Surprised I wasn't called out on this, ha.

The Leesa Legend is Leesa's high-end, plushest mattress. I think West Elm and Pottery Barn carry the Leesa mattress line if you want to see the mattress before buying.

If Leesa is a high-end mattress, then which end is sleep number mattress? Some people said, once you can afford it, get a high-end mattress, because your future body will thank you for spending 1/3 of your life on it.

Don't get your question on which end is sleep number.

Being considered highend is one thing, but can anyone with experience attest to the quality and comfort? Anyone have thoughts on them? This is first time I've heard the brand, but then again, haven't researched much.

Clarification - the Legend is Leesa's high-end mattress; certainly there's even higher-end mattresses in the universe of mattresses!

I personally like the Leesa Original and think I'd like the Legend, too. The Legend is likely good for side-sleepers as it's softer than the other Leesa mattresses. (No, I'm not affiliated with Leesa but have been mattress shopping recently!)

It boggles my mind that buying from Costco is so much cheaper than buying direct.

OK, how plush is it? I've tried a few "plush" mattresses and they have for the most part been pretty firm.

It says- Leesa Legend 12" Hybrid Mattress Medium Firm

It says medium firm and not plush.

Do you have this mattress?

I've narrowed my search down to the Leesa Legend here for $1,200 or the Saatva Classic for $1,845

The Saatva Classic has a "plush soft" option. I do not know how that compares to the Leesa Legend.

So... Leesa mattresses have fiberglass in them. They sure go out of their way to hide that fact. They say it's safe and even if it tears the fiberglass cannot be exposed.

I'm not taking the chance. They really should disclose this on their website. No where in the pictorial of what's in a Leesa is fiberglass listed.

Sneaky, sneaky...

I have this. It's a very good mattress, and comfortable, but it's too soft for me (my mistake for buying medium firm). If you like/need firm beds, skip it. But if you don't, it's very comfortable and soft.

Bought this in April for the same price through Costco. Great mattress so far, no complaints. Definitely feels on the softer side of medium. There is plenty of support though under the initial soft layer.

So Costco's description says the Leesa Legend is medium firm. If you go to Leesa's website, it's described as "medium plush." Reviews (including those above) say it's on the plush side of medium.

Also, I actually tried the Saatva Classic and returned it. It's a very nice bed, with one exception: the motion transfer is horrible (IMO)! If you sleep with a partner and are sensitive to movement, you might not like the Saatva Classic. Saatva charges ~$100 if you want to return the mattress, just FYI.

If I were you, I'd try the Leesa first, just because you can try and return it for free (and it's considerably less expensive than the Saatva). Hope this helps.

Which firmness did you try for the Saatva?

I tried the medium-firm one, which Saatva recommends, and thought it was too firm. So they sent me a foam mattress topper, which was great, but ultimately the high level of motion transfer really bothered me and I returned the mattress. I'd recommend the mattress - and Saatva's excellent customer service - to anyone who doesn't sleep with a partner (or pets, I suppose).

I guess they charged you $99 to return it?
