Ouch….those reviews do not bode well for it's durability!
The Philips website on this product does not indicate that it has FALD. I think that's a mistake on the Sam's Club listing. At $350 for a 65" TV I think there's almost no way it would have FALD, and if it did, it likely wouldn't be well controlled.

Regardless, 65" TV for $350 is still a solid deal for a TV you're not going to watch super regularly. Nice find, OP!
Those reviews...no way

Android? This thing must be ancient. Seems every other TV I've seen sold recently has Google TV now instead of android,

I don't know why i bought this couple of years ago but this thing is worthless. I am surprised that they are still selling these tvs.

I have requested bunch of issues and they all marked as duplicate issuee which are not fixed to the date. You can see all issues here for this model.

https://issuetracker.google.com/[email protected]

I have two more roku tvs and they are workouts flawlessly like it did on first day.

Google tv has slowed down functuonality over the time by pushing updates.

There only very few screen manufacturers which makes tv that lasts forever. So its not about which brand you buy but which OS you buy.

QLED? I got the vizio 65 inch from Sam's Club for $399. I'd get this if it's a QLED, no budget for an OLED for now lol.

It's most likely not a mistake. It doesn't mention local dimming. It just says full array. There are 2 common backlight arrangements. Edge-lit and full array. Both have the ability to implement local dimming.
