It does have an IQ feature that maps out your typical usage and if it detects odd usage (think the occasional morning car wash, it will trigger an alert call/ text/ email.
Even without the insurance savings from having it, I would definitely buy it.

Credit or debit cards at Gas stations and restaurants are more vulnerable than this product.

For this reason I'm think of using the system:
Auto leak detection and water valve controller
YoLink DIY Automatic Water Leak Detection & Shut-Off Starter Kit (EVO Valve style; $270 AC): https://www.amazon.com/YoLink-Automatic-Detection-Manipulator-Controller/dp/B098QP4ZLH/ref=sr_1_7?cr... [amazon.com]
Benefits:
- Interacts directly with already installed cutoff switch. No plumber needed.
- Easy to replace if/when necessary
- No direct access to water; direct mechanical interaction with cutoff switch; good solution to well water owners
- Can either be used as battery only, or power with battery backup
- Direct interaction with leak sensors placed throughout the house (no cloud or internet outage concerns)
- No subscription necessary
- Can also be used on the cloud for app notifications/control and compatible with Alexa
- Expandable to additional sensor or sensor styles
- Can be expanded to provide additional smarthome capabilities. Sensors include door and window contacts, glass break/vibration alarms, lighting, fridge and freezer monitoring, smoke and fire sensors, smart locks, sirens and will soon provide video surveillance
User Review video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1DIfYE-gsA (note this individual is using the bulldog valve rather than the EVO valve). In terms of monitors I'd have one at all the usual spots (toilets, washer, water heater, etc)
The only issue that I've found is that this system can only detect leaks where you put the sensor, so if you have a leak on some pipe somewhere in the house/irrigation system this setup is not going to make you aware. For that reason I may also decide to add a water monitor/leak detector system (like the Flume 2 which is also battery operated and can work for 4 years on batteries alone). Here's an interesting video where someone compared the accuracy, pros and cons of the Moen Flo vs Streamlabs, Phyn vs. Flume).

I would think that if I'm mitigating a significant risk, I should get a discount.
My state is in a mini crisis of sorts with insurance doubling and some companies leaving altogether due to recent years of bogus roof claims and also bogus water damage claims. The MO for the water claims is a busted pipe behind a wall which the homeowner supposedly fixes and discards before insurance gets to see it, then they claim for damages to cabinets, floors, etc. Insurance Cos kept losing at trial (jurors rarely decide in favor of ins co) so things reached a point where they'd just settle these claims. Word spread, people kept doing it, wash rinse repeat. We recently got a law that's supposedly going to help immensely, but now the reinsurance market damage has been done and we can only hope that things can be reigned in on time.
A device like this should go a long way to show an ins co that you're not up to those shenanigans. Aside from that, knowing that this thing can actually stop the water flow during a leak/burst pipe situation and spare us the nightmare of dealing with water damage. If they don't offer a discount (they should be giving these out to every policy holder at this point!) that'd be quite dumb on their part.
