The only thing this unit is missing is it appears not to be supported by municipalities that offer a low night time charging rate that is billed by the charger. WIFI connection directly from the charger to the utility servers to monitor usage.

Our municipality is using chargepoint and Juicebox. These two are fully UL Listed and I think that's the reason. Autel is UL Rated, but rated is not the same as UL listed.

Cable really stiff in <20F temps, but no overheats with garage temperatures over 110F easily this summer.

It's a heavy duty unit. Wifi and bluetooth work well, and you can actually hardwire ethernet on this one I believe if you don't have Wifi.

I don't have two units to test this, but I have researched this model more than many youtubers out there that do charging reviews. Yes it appears that two chargers can share one circuit based on load balancing. This load balancing is based on internet control to the two units, not control wiring between the two units. It's app driven through Wifi.

With data driven features and a dedicated app this is more powerful than the current Wall Connector in my opinion.

Maybe not as inexpensive, but you can piece together your own EVSE (colloquially called "EV Charger") using an open platform, which I find pretty slick!

Hmmm -15, I doubted I would be in the garage or anywhere else at that temp.

The stupid thing is, this "open" platform is much more expensive. That's the opposite of what reality should be.
The cables are quite expensive but this DIY solution allows you to salvage an old cable from another system, which is where the savings kick in. Besides that, you are free to shop around. DIY is never really about "saving money" but having better understanding and control over what goes into your system.

Are you talking about Time of Use pricing? If so you can set a schedule to not charge during peak hours. If not, I'm interested to learn more about charging rates billed by the charger.

At 50f the cable was difficult to handle when compared to more flexible options. The cold temp test is aimed at users who install the unit outside in northern locations.

For Tesla you can install an industrial grade 14-50 wall outlet from Hubbell or Bryant and control charging through the car and/or app. with the Tesla portable cable. Or get the Tesla wall charger. It's the highest rated at State of Charge. I use a 110v 20A circuit with a Lectron portable charger and 100ft.10g extension cord to deliver 16A to my M3. I'm thinking about time-of-day lower rates with a separate meter in the future.
How long does it take to charge with 110V line and what's the battery capacity? Thanks.

Pretty much, that's if you even have enough Amp at home.

I bought one of these for the same price from Amazon a couple of months ago and it's been great so far. If you want a wall mounted charger with an app and wifi and stuff I don't think you can do better at this price range.
Is it 220V?

No NACS, No thanks. Not future proof.
Next year all these J1772 will be on Slick Deals for $99 or less.

Tesla, Fisker, Ford, GM, Honda, Mercedes, Nissan, Polestar, Rivian, and Volvo. Plus Tesla's Super Charger network. All going to be NACS.

Just wanted to remind people that the Emporia Energy EVSE has been priced at $399 almost constantly for the last six months, either through Amazon or directly on their site.

They have a decent app for monitoring energy usage, the EVSE is UL Listed, and supports 48a / 11.5kWh charging rate. For the extra $100, it may be worth it for the faster charging rate.

Socal has wallbox level 2 charger 40a for 299.99, which should be equivalent to this one.
I tried the wallbox and couldn't get it to connect to the wifi... its a common problem with the wallbox. If you don't need the wifi and smart charging then it should be fine.
