My wife just went into the local store and told her about the 222.75 price point and the lady at Walmart price matched it for 222.75. Thank you very much for this!!

I picked one up from Clearance Friday the 8th for 167. Apparently that's the lowest they'll go before sending them back to the manufacturer.

I bought this griddle about 3 months and I haven't been terribly happy with it. It has lower BTU's than the standard Blackstone 36" grill. It just doesn't get hot enough to get a good sear on meat. I tested it with an IR thermometer and it maxes out at about 490-510F. I've not been able to make a crispy smash burger or hibachi steak and veggies to my liking. I'm curious if others have had the same experience.
