Dewalt isn't scamming anyone; you simply just don't get it.
Delete your post ASAP, it's embarrassing.
No coupon codes but you probably won't get charged tax. Their sales are usually the cheapest for Dewalt stuff.
If you're getting something over 100 bucks already, check out their closeout section for stuff you probably don't need but would get if it's a closeout price. I wound up getting a set of aluminum pipe wrenches I wouldn't have bought otherwise. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

unless you want to use other blade for bushes, its not a must to get 60v version.
Chickanic will tell you which head to use:

If you still have a gas powered one you can put the husqy or the ball's home two tooth blade on it for brush. (I've tried every brush blade imaginable and this design does work).
I run the Worx "nitro driveshare" bladed head on mine, works as well as our old corded model, though at 6'3 i wish the shaft was about 6" longer due to the angle you have to operate it at.

Coming back to dewalt trimmer I have a 20V trimmer and it is the best trimmer investment I have ever made. I have had it for 4 years, a Brushless one and still going strong. Spool rewinding is a challenge but not difficult.

There was a banner offer on the page to get $10 off as a first time customer. I needed to provide an email and opt-in to text marketing (my Google voice # worked though and there is a "stop" option that I'll have to test) but I was able to redeem it and get this for $239 shipped (no tax for me, as another reply mentioned to you)
I'm in the Dewalt battery system for most of my power tools but was undecided on OPE. This deal made me decide on Dewalt for the lighter "carrying" stuff (blowers, edgers, trimmer, etc, mostly with attachments to this) since I don't need as much battery power and I can somewhat share the batteries with my other tools and Toro for the heavier rolling stuff (principally snow blower and mower) where I need much longer runtime and won't be lifting the tool with a humongous 60V 7.5 or 10AH battery.
BTW, I have this FLEXVOLT trimmer and its great. Also have multiple FLEXVOLT tools, and a multiple FLEXVOLT batteries. Not my first rodeo, pardner.
