These are absolute junk and should not be used for any type of actual impact application. Tried some last time and the adapter completely sheared off on first use
Excellent YouTube channel. His testing isn't the most scientific and you need to pause the video to review a lot of his charts, but for the most part, he gives it to you straight. The Lexivon torque wrenches performed quite miserably.
Reviews of other Lexivon adapters and the like are not glowing either. You get what you pay for here, I'd rather pick something up at Harbor Freight if I'm looking for a cheap tool.

I have been working mine pretty hard and I've not snapped mine yet...

I used a 3/8 adapter from harbor freight for 6+ years with a Milwaukee impact before it finally snapped on a cold day. I couldn't believe how long it lasted

I bought a set of these Lexivon adapters about a year ago, knowing they weren't top quality just from the reviews, but they were cheap and on a deal.
Same thing happened to mine... sheared the 1/2" to 3/8" adapter and was only giving it about 1/2 torque on a Milwaukee mid-size impact gun.
I guess it depends on the luck of the draw with the quality/chemistry of the steel they used for that particular production run. These aren't anywhere near the quality of good forged US CrMo steel but the price reflects that.

In this example, you get what SD Staff get paid to push you 😂
Seems more than good enough for occasional auto/home use to me, especially when the 2nd cheapest wrench there is $75.
Maybe for brake calipers or the odd suspension bolt, but if it involves several bolts that need to be evenly tightened, the variance of that wrench would be a problem.
