This is a good deal, but has been a fair amount of recent press re: possible health concerns related to various rinse aids. Not sure what the true story is but posting so people can be aware and make their own decisions.

Hmmmm....what's the point of this? The rinse agent is used to help it dry without spots. If you rinse it again after using the rinse agent, you're back at square one.

So if I'm understanding the jacionline article correctly, they tested to concentrations as low as 1:4,000. At that concentration, the effect was relatively minimal compared to 1:250, where there is an obvious impact. The article also says that the typical concentration is 1:80,000, so their lowest tested concentration is 20 times higher than the typical concentration.

Edit: NM, they say that for "professional" dishwashers, the concentration of the rinse agent is between 1:2,000 to 1:10,000, so 1:4000 is probably a decent average.

Got a $2.25 digital reward with slow shipping. That makes this super slick. And after looking at those studies, I'm going to reprogram my dishwasher to use the lowest amount of rinse aid possible, so that should stretch these out longer.

These bottles are hard to aim into the socket. I much prefer the Cascade bottles because I don't feel like I'm wasting a ton by spilling it everywhere.
