If you've never tried Lemi Shine, you're missing out. In my opinion, nothing is even close to its effectiveness in the DW additive universe.

I can only say yes, it seems to work, as the girlfriend got this for my dishwasher just the other day at regular store price. I had never used it before. The dishes are cleaner, and the dishwasher itself looks cleaner too.

You know, I thought it was a waste... went months without refilling the unit on my dishwasher... then I bought some Finish at Costco to refill it, and everything seemed to dry better and sparkle more.

This really does work, but it makes the dishwasher smell like nasty chemicals, and it makes all my dishes for the next 10 loads taste like nasty chemicals. I wish there were something like this that didn't leave such a nasty smell behind

It forces the water to drip off the dishes quickly, so they dry much faster and better, and prevents residue and water spots.
Yes it is extremely beneficial.

Ok I was wondering about that. Kind of like how you add a surfactant to weed killer to increase its effectiveness. What I'm wondering though is if there is any additional chemical residue left behind, or if perhaps there is less?
