Is it just me, or does it seem like a bad idea to have hiking boots with tunnel holes through the soles? I would expect rocks, mud, and small sticks to find their way inside?

Hmm, perhaps they help with traction in mud? I have no idea, just guessing

The older models had more of an issue with the center channel on the bottom more than anything. Looks like they added a filler.

My gf's on cloud shoes can't even be worn off road because they collect pebbles with every step.

Maybe not the most functional for heavy trail use but they look killer!

Yup they're regular shoes with similar sole picks up quarter stones

Aw, sweet! Now they make those ugly shoes in uglier hiking boots! Just what we all needed!

I mean.. We've all seen wackier shoes in terms of shoe design. At this point are we still surprised?

I wouldn't buy these for hiking. I plan on using them around Chicago basically to avoid light slush, but still be good for wearing inside. They look nice.

100% I have the running shoes, and any time you even walk through a gravel parking lot, you end up with rocks stuck in your shoes. Kills your floors too if you don't take off your shoes.

Shoes stay by the door. Never around the house.
