What happens if you order $35 worth of stuff to get free shipping and something becomes out of stock bringing your order under $35? Do they then charge you for shipping because that 1 item was not in stock?
After creating a new Walmart account(+ trick with Gmail works with Walmart) sign up for a 30 day trial first, after that without signing out/closing the browser, click on the PayPal sign up which will add another 90 days of trial on top of 30 days trial which Walmart gives by default, so total of 120 days trial.
I just tried this and it worked for me.
When you sign up for the 30 day trial, did you use your same PayPal as a payment?

I believe they will honor the free shipping as long as your $35 purchase is completed successfully. Whatever happens later on is their problem, not yours and they can't charge you shipping fee regardless of what happens.

Often times items show as in stock, but by the time the order is prepared, it's no longer in stock, so that is not our fault. I have had several times where the order falls below $35 and they still ship for free. Even when I used a promo code, I still got the full discount (e.g. $10 off $50 purchase).
I created a new Walmart account to get a trial, but realized that I never got the paypal code, so couldn't get this promo to work.
I got this email, but I couldn't sign up because I didn't see any place to insert the code on the page to join Walmart+. On that page I can add the PayPal payment successfully but no place to enter the code. So where is the place to enter the code.
I had the same problem. I used the link above given by slick deals and entered the promo code and it worked!

My membership is expiring. I can just use a different email. But I want to keep my purchase history, etc. Good deal if you won't mind creating a new account.
