Buy it now, don't open the box, and also put it on your baby registry at Target (if you don't have one already, create one. Even if you already have a different registry at another store, you should still create one at Target and you don't need to tell anyone about it).

Target lets you return unopened items on your registry for a store gift card up to a year after your kid's birth without a receipt. So if you are gifted a 2nd stroller or see a better deal you'll be able to return it (probably for more money than this current sale price). Just be sure to keep track of which stroller came from which store, since they probably make different model numbers for each store which are essentially the same thing with a different color scheme or other minor detail difference).

Target also gives you two 15% off coupons for any baby item when you have a registry (they say it's for unpurchased items on the registry, but they don't actually care and let you use it for pretty much anything even slightly related to babies).

The coupon doesn't generate instantly though, so create the registry now so you'll have it when you need it. The coupon won't be available until 2 weeks after you've added your first item to the registry AND until 8 weeks before your due date. They don't double check the accuracy of your due date, so you can just make up a day 10 weeks in the future to get the coupon as fast as possible. Once you get the coupon, keep tabs on the price of this stroller and if you see it go on sale again (or something else you like more) you can return the one you just bought and then re-buy using the coupon.

The 15% off coupons are also combinable with other coupons, including the 20% off coupon for car seats and strollers they give each April during their annual car seat trade in event. They publicly announce that you get this coupon for trading in an old stroller, but in actuality they just put up signs with a QR code around the store that anyone can scan whether or not you brought in an old car seat. The employees don't care and happily encourage everyone to do that. They often run really nice sales around this time, so you can get something at a nice sale price minus both the 15% and 20% off coupons!! This even works with items that you ask to price match from Amazon or Walmart.

Next April is probably after your due date, but you'll likely find yourself wanting something else by then because your car seat & stroller needs will keep on changing as the baby grows.

Does anybody have helpful experience how this brand compares to Graco? Are they identical in build quality or is one significantly better, because their designs appear to be identical.

Depends on use. In my opinion, Graco seats, the high end ones will be better and still cheaper for toddlers and up. These however are great for infants and, durable, and safe for sure especially as rear facing. You can buy additional bases if you have multiple cars, quite easy to take it out and in, not bulky.

For strollers, on smooth indoor surface these worked fine for us, but on roads, parks, or after some air travel (checked at gate) the wheels started getting stuck/won't turn. I ended up buying the ones with inflatable wheels, but those are too big for travel and some airlines won't allow gate check in even if they are under the weight limit. Then had to get one of those umbrella or foldable ones that can go through TSA scanners, but airlines will break any stroller to be honest, and then you go through the painful claims process... unless you get the 20 dollar strollers and don't care.

Buy at this price. If someone gets it for you then return the one you bought. If no one gets it for you then you got it at a pretty good price.

Edit: Redcard brings it down to $265.99

I got a similar deal a few years ago for my first kid. It worked great. Ordered a second base for the wife's cars. The stroller worked fine for stores and running around even the zoo. It make a few trips walking her around the neighborhood. It's plastic wheels. If you are wanting to really walk/jog regularly for distance I would get a dedicated stroller made for that. We used ours until she was around 6 months. Once she was sitting up good and stable for shopping carts. Then we switched to "permanently" mounted adjustable car seat. But not waking up an infant to get them in and of a car is so worth it.

We got this set two years ago. I like the stroller, it's handled pretty well in the grass at festivals. I'm sure there are better ones out there for that, but this one will fold up *relatively* small. If i went back to do it again, I'd get a travel stroller and a more rugged stroller, but this one has been fine

I bought this and one thing I wish I knew earlier was that the infant seat DOES NOT require a base. You technically can strap it in with seatbelt. Why is this relevant? You don't necessarily NEED a second base because of this. I work from home but we have 2 cars so I bought a second base not knowing that I technically can just strap the infant seat in on those very rare occasions that I need to take baby and the other with the base isn't home.

I have this, it's great for quick trips with the baby. However, unless the baby is really short, you are not going to get to use to 30lbs. Most babies will be too long for the car seat when they get close to 11 months.

The Keyfit system is awesome as you won't have to wake the baby up when moving from car to stroller. It's by far the easiest to fold and gets really compact to throw into the trunk. My only gripe is the plastic wheels as you can feel every bump. They do sell upgraded wheet set for $60.

Same gripe i have about my 2019 system's wheels. Although it looks like this particular one has rubber wheels, can anyone confirm?

No the infant seat doesn't require a base to be used, there's a whole section on the manual called "Install without base setup"

I have this. I've been pleased with it. It's not light though. But I'm sure unless you're spending $750+, you probably won't get something light.

It closes really really easily. Quick to get in and out of car.
