Thanks for sharing. I was ready to buy until I found out that the glass brilliance pieces are made with soda lime glass, not borosilicate. The major takeaway is that these may not do too well going from fridge to microwave and definitely could shatter going from fridge to hot oven.

This is super interesting, thanks for this! This means, to me, it's not glassware that I would move from fridge to oven immediately - which is OK for me =).

So that said, I think the risk is pretty low - I have used these countless times from fridge to microwave with no issue, I have never had these rubbermaids shatter. This price is 50%+ off for this set and I'm in for one, considering 2!

They are hands down the best food storage containers I've had to date and the lids are fantastic to me.
