Not sure what's wrong with people thread crapping this. This is a great deal, I just picked up a Silver 8 core 14" Pro for $1299 and I'm tempted to return it for this deal. The only catch is this is in Space Gray instead of Silver and I really like the Silver color.

Legit confused too. I've literally been waiting for this exact deal. The 16" is great but too big (have it now). They've had the 16" 1tb on sale for a while, but not the 14". This guy is the perfect size for me. Amazing price.

Probably cause it's a refurb and not new. Is there any information about what can be expected from a Microcenter refurb? How does it compare to an Apple refurb model, ordered from Apple's site?

Maybe the OP should update that this is Apple Certified Refurbished so it's as good as new so it comes with a 1 year of Apple warranty and you can add Apple Care + too. As for "refurb" vs new. If you're on the lookout for Macbooks (air/pro), you'll already realize most deals are for the "base configuration" at brick and mortars while customization usually happens at the Apple storefront that are stingy with offers.

How much difference, not just power, is there from the M1 to M2? I don't think it's worth getting the M2, but wondering if I might be missing something.

Picked one up myself. came in a sealed apple box that said apple certified refurbished. Packaged like brand new. Laptop itself looks brand new. Completely discharchged, had monterey on it.
