Enough iphone 15 will be available in US, Chinese not buying due to Mate X5 and Mate 60 pro. No wonder pro price kept at $999 instead $1199. Just wait a little many offers will come.

I cannot stress this enough. This is not worth it. Their customer service is *abysmal*. If you have ANY issues, be prepared for weeks of calls talking to people who speak words, but don't understand anything you're saying.

I actually called in to cancel my mobile service because it would not let me do it online and they could not successfully port any numbers I was trying to bring after 3 weeks. They cancelled my INTERNET, and left my mobile active, even after I specifically said "I want to be clear, I do NOT want to cancel my internet services." and verbally confirmed that with them twice. It was an absolute joke.

Most likely it will be same as apple, you'll need iphone 14 pro max 1tb to get full $830 back else get $100-$200 back

what do you mean use on other carrier while traveling?
The phone will be locked to Xfinity mobile and you would be unable to use a local sim which is much cheaper and convenient while traveling abroad. I am also using tmobile service so this is also a no if it's bill credit.

So if i add a new line, and trade in iphone 13 pro max, the value of trade in is only $430 as getting $400 by default? Was hoping would get additional $830.

Upgrade existing line has no discount. Trade in 11 Pro Max gives me $700. Not too bad, I decided to take it.

New line + trading in my iPhone 12s (just the standard model) netted $700. So $300 for the trade in. I doubt I could sell my used phones second hand for much more than that, so I pulled the trigger on two 15+.

The deal is good if one doesn't plan to travel internationally. If planning to travel internationally, then it is $10/day for global pass. Xfinity will not unlock the phone unless the phone is paid in full. If you plan to pay off the phone, then the monthly discounts wont apply.

Not to be that guy but can't you go into an xfinity store and deal with them
No, you can't. Stores are not equipped or willing to help with Mobile issues. In my case, they would not even fix an issue that THEY caused while signing me up for service. Absolute worst company for cell service.

Bang for the buck is to trade in older iPhones. Just traded in a working iPhone XR 64GB for $600 in bill credits - obviously can't get that type of price on the open market.

Same situation for me, considering trading in but using the 15 pros on different line. With sim cards it was easy. Anyone know or can confirm if this can work with esims? I worry chat agent will tell you anything to get a sale so I didn't try them yet. Thanks

edit, according to XM chat agent, this will work...
I haven't done it myself, but other people have said they got it to work. However, it seems like people who tried it awhile back ran into a lot of problems while people who tried more recently have had more success. They don't just swap the phone numbers between lines; you need a competent CSR that knows how to swap all the device info over including the DPP (+bill credits).

So for the person that asked about switching numbers to a line that already has a DPP (+bill credits)...I'm not sure if that'll work...at the very least it adds more complexity and you better hope the CSR is really competent and thorough.

Xfinity Mobile is great if you don't run into any issues.

Last year, we ported over 2 spare lines to Xfinity Mobile (1GB plan for $15) and got new iPhone 14 last year (traded old phones and got a great deal). Xfinity was able to port one number within few minutes and we are receiving proper bill credits.

The other number - I have been trying for 9+ months now, have wasted several hours (on my spare days) and they simply cannot port-in this number. I have a brand new iPhone 14 that I can use on wifi only, no device credits as XM failed to port and you simply do not want to deal with their support. There is nothing wrong with the number. After giving up hope with XM porting process, I have been able to successfully port the same number several times now in trying out different MVNOs (Visible, T-mobile Prepaid, Mint mobile, Ting, US Mobile - each of these mvno are able to port the number over within few minutes but not XM).

Can you clarify this for me? My daughter has an Iphone 12 and was thinking about upgrading her to a Iphone 15 but she's going on a school trip to France next year. Would she be able to use her Iphone 15 on XM in France next year?
