Does the S8 ultra keyboard work with S9 ultra.? Thanks in advance.
The keyboard does, you get a warning about potential incompatibility but it seems to work fine. The bigger issue issue is the cameras are different on the s9 ultra so the flap where the pen goes doesn't sit flush.

This video describes it:

Per www.androidcentral.com [androidcentral.com]
https://www.androidcentral.com/ta...b-s8-ultra [androidcentral.com]
"Honestly, there's really not much of a reason to upgrade to the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra if you already own the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. With the exception of Vision Booster, a variable refresh rate, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, these are identical tablets. You'll get mostly the same performance across the board, all while enjoying a massive 14.6-inch AMOLED screen.
There's an argument that could be made in regards to the extra year of software support, but by the time that rolls around, we'll probably be looking at the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra or something. "

With that said not sure its worth the cost at $400 plus also considering screen protector, case and keyboard. Will hold out until better deal pops up preferably one with the official keyboard included.
Probably others like myself in the same boat.
Yeah $100 in sales tax putting it at about $480 with the student discount really sours the deal for me.

But they upgrade ur mem to 512meg though. Then again one can put in a large microSD card...
I got the same upgrade on my S8 Ultra for the 512 memory. I use like almost none of it laugh out loud
Still not worth the upgrade until the price comes down.

Is it worth it to pay $285 minus R*T cashback + tax to upgrade from Tab S8+ 128GB to Tab S9+ 512GB?

Do you all find yourselves constantly frustrated with the app situation on Android tablets? I bought an S9 in the earlier deal with keyboard, and it's so very clearly a nicer device than my 5th gen iPad Air, but the ecosystem seems nearly as immature as when I had my Note 10.1 in 2014. I'm seriously thinking of sending it back.

My latest frustrations are that you can't get Signal in desktop mode (where it's synced to your phone rather than its own instance) and that the options for software to take handwritten notes for displaying during lectures are pretty weak (because the projected image shows too much interface, in most cases.) These are the sorts of things you never have to deal with in ipad land; maybe I'm just getting too old for Android tablets, though still holding onto my Samsung phones.

It really seems like tablets are for reading or watching TV. Other than that they get put in stacks of stuff and forgotten.

Also, they're phenomenal for school, both teaching and studying.

I decided to replace my tablet with a portable touch screen. Now I just use DEX with the touch screen and always have the latest specs when I upgrade my phone.

Creators get huge benefit from tablets. I use mine as a near desktop replacement with the benefit of pen enabled art (Krita)

Upgraded my Tab S7 FE and S22U to S9U, S23U, two watches, and a buds pro 2. After tradeins and discounts, total came to $1023 after tax. If you do get a watch, the bands other than sport show up separately, so I'm wondering if two bands will be included.
