I've been a capital one customer for like 15 years. Recently, we were victims of fraud from a propery management company that takes applications fees and never responds to any correspondence. Clear as day fraud. I put 2 hours into explaining the situation to capital one through their onerous chargeback process. They denied my claim based on the company doing nothing other than providing documentation that we applied for a propery. Appeared to not even read the submission
My one and only chargeback request in 15 years and they don't even read it. Horrible customer service. I'm downgrading my card tomorrow and never using it again
Is this the best cc SUB out there right now or are there other good offers?
Looking for a new card for some expenses. Already have Amex Plat and Sapphire Reserve. Will probably downgrade the CSR. The chase business offers look interesting though I don't know that I have 6k spend to do in 3 months unless I pay my rent and pay the fee.
Is it worth the 395 annual fee? Even the APR is pretty awful.
"
Interest Rates and Interest Charges
Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Purchases and Transfers 21.99%, 25.99% or 28.99%, based on your creditworthiness.
This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate."
If you care 1 iota about what the APR is, you shouldn't be applying for a credit card.
My FICO score dropped from slightly above 800 to 790s since I had a balance on one card which has now been paid. Would an offer like this last until the first week of October at least? (when my new score should reflect paying off my other card and go back to 800+)
Or am I being OCD and should just apply right now? I mainly ask because I know the next tier for a CC score is usually 800+ so was thinking I get back there before applying.

You are OCD. I got less than that and I got approved.

Yes you can refer your partner.
What is the best redemption for the $300 credit? Everything seems to be more expensive on the travel portal.

I thought it was for the venture x card because of the 2x miles /$ on all purchases, but now I realize that both the venture and x card have that.

The previous high for venture x was when it launched with 100k points + $200 credit with $10k spend in 6 months
