Anyone confirm if the $15 discount for bundling internet + mobile is valid for existing internet customers? Or only for new customers that purchase both internet and mobile together?

Valid for Existing customer, but only on non promotional internet rate. Are you paying full price for internet or on discounted rate?

Does anyone see any movement on their preorders? I ordered my phone with a rep on Friday, and it just says pending without my card ever being charged. In addition, my order confirmation with the representative does not reference the 500 gift card, so I hope I don't have any issues. She did say that I would get it. Did anyone email order confirmation or online confirmation after ordering references it?

Read through the whole thread and you'll find the answer. The phones are a dropship from Apple, so how can there be an update when the phones aren't even going to begin to ship until Friday?

Because the information on Cox's website says delivers by September 22nd. It doesn't say ships by September 22nd.

I called Cox yesterday and the agent said that they were going to ship on the 22nd and I probably will get it the following week, that's all I know.

Yeah, I guess we'll get it when we get it. I would rather think I'll get it sometime next week then be disappointed if it doesn't come Friday or Saturday or Sunday.

I wonder if they are in violation then of the CTIA Consumer Code/FCC Regulations. They state that:

If you pay for your phone outright from Cox (or pay off the remaining balance if purchased on device payment) you would meet all of these requirements, and Cox would have to unlock the phone for you, as I understand it. At least, I wasn't able to find any clause where the service provider could keep your phone locked for 60-days, for any reason, as long as you meet the above requirements.

Cox on the other hand does note in their TOS that "at least 60-days must have passed since the device was activated on a Cox Mobile line and detected by the Cox Mobile network" before they will unlock it. They make no mention of exceptions in the case that the phone is paid off in full.

Might be worth having a chat with a Cox rep once you have paid off your phone in full and asking if they can unlock it for you. If they say no, ask them under what grounds they are keeping it locked, in regards to the CTIA Consumer Code/FCC. Might get it unlocked for you, or at least you can find out if there truly is an exception that allows them the 60-days regardless of device payment status.

Just received an email saying estimated available date for pro max 256 gb as Nov 27. At the time of ordering it was Sept 29

Yeah, I ordered a Pro and got an email saying that one is all set. For the Pro Max just got an email saying it's pushed to Nov 17.
