Walmart in Decatur, GA. I decided to bite the bullet, fully intending to buy this model for $297.

To my amazement, it rang up as $165. I didn't notice any rollback or clearance pricing. It was the last 36" model there.

I was sad when I asked if they could price match Tractor Supply and they said they don't price match anymore. This sort of thing never happens to me!

This Walmart model (38000btu) is not the same at the TSC model (60000btu)

I've read that this model is more updated with a different griddle top, therefore more efficient without the need for the higher btu's. Lots of conflicting information but regardless, I'm sure it'll get the job done just fine!

Correct, this model 2177 is the upgraded version of the original model 2149. I'd most definitely pay the extra $30 for the upgraded flat top that uses a ton less gas. Blackstone wouldn't update the grill and continuously plug their new omni griddle tech if it wasn't in their best interest for reviews.
