So you're just bragging about a deal that can't be replicated. No wonder you're getting dumped on.
Quite the opposite. I'm explaining what that guy was talking about and also saying that deal a lot of folks didn't even get the deal.

also for anyone buying the plugs. there outdoor plugs track power usage (both plugs combined) and the indoor one doesn't

Interesting - and they're cheaper?

The indoor plugs come 2 single outlet plugs to a box.

The outdoor plugs are a box on a 6 inch ish? Cord with 2 outlets in it. edit: each plug is able to be turned on/off independently.

So if you just want to switch a lamp on / off the indoor plugs are the way to go. If you want to track electric use the outdoor one is better (plus outdoor use available)

Personally I use them to keep stubborn livestock cool throughout the summer. They are so much more versatile than regular dusk to dawn holiday decoration timers. It's really nice being able to switch two separate plugs on or off even when I'm miles away from home. The scheduling feature has never let me down. I've broken multiple other traditional outdoor timer plugs with just regular daily use.

I have my low voltage landscape lighting on it. Much better control than with the mechanical timer that's part of the control box. Has been working great for 1+ yr. Set to turn on with actual sunset all year round.

Are use them outside to control my mood lighting. I have a fan under my gazebo to keep the mosquitoes off. My ankles took to one and a bug zapper.

Perfect for anything you don't want to have to get up to turn off or on trying to figure out how to rig up a missed system to one of these also.

I swear off Wyze but I bought one yesterday. Just because I still have one Wyze surviving door sensor that I need to pair this with for my patio bug zapper. Never ever update the FW though, they usually will become useless. Buy their products when on sale with disposability in mind.

I got two outdoors all summer. I like them, but I'm starting to move away from Wyze since they don't play nice with Home Assistant. Going to start using more Kasa devices.

Bought a few on 9/22 at the Bensalem store at Woodhaven Mall (PA.) They still had about 10 left, on a clearance endcap at the back of one of the aisles.
