They are saying it's going to be $19.99 for a 1 year membership (regular not Plus) and on top of that you get $10 off your first in-store purchase which effectively makes it $9.99 for the 1 year membership (regular not Plus).

its used to be the other way around. i bought toilet paper at sams and paper towels at costco. costco used to have thicker paper towels than sams.


your right. not recently. after covid. costco paper towels have changed to a lot worse than that. now even the sams quality that i used to hate is better than the current "new & improved" costco paper towels.

I've had both Costco and Sam's Club for a year now, and I like Sam's Club more.
Costco on weekends is a zoo. It's getting worse and worse every time I visit.
I heard they're going to enforce strict membership checks at entrance to reduce numbers. In other words, yet even more long lines at the entrance.
Their website and app are garbage and at least 5 years behind, which is a long time in the tech sense.
Sam's scan & go checkout is a game changer. I don't know why people continue to line up at sam's in store.
This weekend, I was in a rush to get to a home gathering and wanted to grab cookies on the way. Parked the car, b-line straight to the cookies shelf. Launched app, scanned item, swiped to confirm purchase, and walked outside. I think the entire round trip from the car took me 3 minutes.
