Probably not. Actual 7000-series laptops (aka 7840) have only been coming out for the last 6 months or so. G14 models go on sale all the time going from past models, glad to see as this gen seems a little overpriced.

I'd be curious from owners of the current gen models what the surface (keyboard) temperatures are like, given the G14's secondary reputation as a space heater.

Been in the market for a new gaming laptop. Was hoping for 4070 and this hits the mark but still seems like there have been better deals. Currently have the Razer 3070 which I generally love so I can wait but performance has really been bad on it (not sure why). Is this worth jumping on or is there going to be a better time in the next 2-3 months to bite?
