Yeah, she'll appreciate how good the adjustable wrenches are at removing tight nuts.
Did I not say that I saw both sides to this up front? I don't disagree with what you just said, but I *DO* disagree that we are "doomed" just because some people have experiences in their lives that make them tend not to appreciate the attitudes potentially hidden behind such "jokes." Too often (especially in the political environment of recent years) offensive things are said and done to intentionally "troll," and then just excused as a "joke" when someone is called out on it. Sometimes it really is just a joke, but all too often it hides a deeper meaning or implication. Especially in today's world, a little appreciation and sensitivity for that fact can go a long way.
Our society is certainly doomed when a tools deal thread has 14 posts and only 2 is about the tools...

I prefer a world where people are blunt and say what they believe and feel. Rather than a world where people keep quiet because it might offend someone else. That makes it easier to spot the racists, and other types I may not want to keep company with. With certain people these days, there isn't much they aren't offended by.
I pretty much agree with that - just so long as those who want others to listen to them are also willing to listen to others and try to work together for a common understanding and good. There's a good reason for some to be offended, but I also agree that the concept can be abused by those looking for attention. Remember that there is likely a reason that they're looking for attention, though - even if they're going about it the wrong way (which is hardly limited to those overplaying the sensitivity card - think those with excessively loud car stereos or exhaust systems, for example).
I see both sides of this, but since you don't know who's going to see such a comment sometimes a little sensitivity and self-censoring is warranted. Women have been treated as subservient second-class citizens throughout history, and although that's slowly changing it's still a major issue in much of the world today. Crude jokes on a public forum like this are bound to experience some (not entirely unjustified) pushback.
BIG WARNING WHEN ORDERING FROM HD ONLINE: Do not choose the locker pick up option when buying more than 1 item (or set like in this case), I ordered 3 things last sale and opened the locker to only have 1 item. It then told me all my items were picked up and released to me. Went back to the store, talked to a manager, they tried to fix it but told me to wait for the items to be delivered, ended up just getting refund when I went back to the store and item still wasn't there.
I bought the pad at Xmas, and it's great. The guys at work steal it all the time.
I use it in my kids playroom to sit on the floor and for some exercises like attempting to do a nordic curl. It's great. Sometimes I just walk on it for second or two. I want enough to cover my floor, then one extra to sit on.

What happened to "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all?"
Unfortunately when people are blunt and saying what they feel, they tend to spout more negativity than positivity. Then you get groups of people who connect and amplify their negativity in an echo chamber.
I know that it's cool to complain and criticize. Negative articles get all the clicks. Rants videos get all the views. It's easier to find fault with others than it is to judge ourselves. *That* is why society is on a downhill slide, not any perception of increased sensitivity.

Well, then I'm glad I'm not wasting my time.
☑️ "VOTE FOR THINKING!" 😁✌️

The Husky foam is great, but the kneeling pad in this bundle is a lot smaller than the pads I've purchased before in the holiday isle deals fyi.
Spoken like a true gentleman.
